The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) says as part of the company’s 7th anniversary celebration, the company would upgrade service delivery to all its customers in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States.
According to a statement by the company’s head of Corporate Communications, Ibrahim Sani Shawai, KEDCO has mapped out strategies to ensure that service delivery in the new year is given due attention in the interest of customers.
“We have sustained reforms within the last seven years in order to cope with the changing demands of power distribution and we are set to upgrade to a higher level to give our numerous customers top notch service delivery.
“As a company, we are mindful of the role our sub-sector plays in micro and macro economic development in our franchise states, hence the constant network expansions and investments.
“All our efforts are geared toward giving satisfaction to all our stakeholders and as part of this year’s celebration, the Management has resolved to award free tokens to some customers for their loyalty over the years in helping us grow the sector.”. The statement said.
In his message, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of KEDCO said the future of the company was a major concern as the company marks its 7th anniversary.
“ While celebrating this year, we are very careful about our future as a company so that we can better prepare for expansion to be able to meet future demands.
“ Our achievements over the years speak volume and such wouldn’t have been possible without the resilience and commitment of my staff and our loyal customers. So I salute both in their efforts to helping us grow to the level we are.”
