The All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer, Yagba Federal Constituency for House of Representative, Mr Folorunsho Olafemi, has assured his constituents of a better representation if elected.
Olafemi gave the assurance on Monday in Lokoja at a parley organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kogi chapter, for National Assembly candidates of various political parties in 2023 electíons
Olafemi promised to give the people of Yagba a better representation as well as explore his legislative influence to attract dividends of democracy to his constituents through collective leadership.
He noted that he had been making positive impacts in the lives of the youth and women in terms of empowerment programmes through his foundation, in alleviating their suffering.
He said that his venture to politics was due to his burning desire to give back to his people by using his connections and exposures to better the wellbeing of his constituents.
He added the youth would also be empowered in the areas of agriculture through innovation, agrochemicals as well as technology and skills’ acquisition.
He noted that from his research, there were 23 unique mineral resources in Yagba land which he promised to ensure that those mineral resources were well harnessed.
He further promised to use his international connections to attract local and international investors to tap such natural endowment to develop the economy and the wellbeing of Yagba people.
