2027: Governor Sule Has No Anointed Governorship aspirant – Aide

The Senior Special Assistant ((SSA) to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Comrade Peter Ahemba, says the governor has no announced governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.
He however revealed that Governor Engineer Abdullahi Sule was disturbed over the attachment of some governorship aspirants, trying to align themselves with the him as anointed candidates.
Comrade Peter Ahemba expressed concerns over the increasing wave of consultations and permutations in the state ahead of 2027.
“The governor distanced himself from all the gubernatorial aspirants going round using his name ahead of the far away 2027 election,” he said, adding that the incumbent administration had designed policies like the provision of infrastructures, construction of flyover and underpass at the state capital, before extending it to Akwanga Local Government Area.
While speaking on the ongoing building of state secretariat. He opined that the structure will in no distance time be commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Senior Special Assistant also disclosed that the state government had approved the construction of flyover at Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
He affirmed that the Governor Sule passed a vote of confidence in the committee for the distribution of rice donated to the Nasarawa State government by Dangote Foundation, adding that the governor expressed satisfaction over the maturity exhibited by the committee, saying there was no single complaint from any community in the state of any diversion of rice.
Comrade Ahemba confirmed that the governor had invested heavily in security of lives and properties, translating into the relative peace being experienced in the state, noting that it was due to the deliberate policies like the procurement of operational vehicles to Joint security operatives.
Calling on the citizenry to be peace loving people, the SSA insisted on issues of dialogue to achieve lasting peace.
According to Ahemba the Governor Sule appointed an ex-commissioner of police to take charge of issues of security as a strategy.
