2025 Hajj: Kano Board Concludes Registration Of Intending Pilgrims

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, announced that the Board has successfully concluded the 2025 Hajj seat sale, with total of 3,155 pilgrims registered.
He made this statement while receiving the management team of the Nigerian Immigration Service in his office.
This was contained in a press statement by Public Relations Officer of the Board Sulaiman Abdullahi Dederi.
Danbappa stated that the Board has completed all necessary arrangements, including the Hajj Induction Course, documentation, and the packing of hand luggage.
He added that the Board is now in the process of issuing visas to the registered pilgrims.
He commended the Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusif, for its continuous support of the Board’s efforts in ensuring a smooth Hajj operation.
On her part, the newly appointed Controller of Immigration Services in charge of Malam Aminu Kano International Airport Command (MAKIA), Aisha Shehu Nda, stated that their visit to the pilgrims board was aimed at strengthening collaboration with key stakeholders and enhancing the relationship between the Board and the Command.
Aisha further emphasized the importance of cooperation in managing migration-related matters, particularly during the Hajj operation.
She also expressed her appreciation for the warm reception organized by the Board and presented an award of excellence to the Director General.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, assured the Immigration Command of the Board’s commitment to working closely with them to achieve shared objectives.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the establishment of the new Immigration Command at MAKIA, describing it as a timely and significant development.
