As an apparent strategy to sustain its control of the state in the approaching 2023 elections, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has reconciled its feuding factions.
The party held a grand rally, Monday, 16th May in Gusau to seal the earlier series of meetings and agreements by the feuding factions.
The rally, attended by all the leaders and followers of all major actors in the APC in the state, brings an end to party acrimony in the state.
In attendance at the rally were Governor Bello Mohammed and former Governors Ahmad Sani Yarima, Mahmud Aliyu Shinkafi and Abdulazeez Yari.
Others included the State Deputy Governor, Senator Hassan Mohammed Nasiha, Senator Kabiru Marafa, Senator Saidu Dansadau, Senator Sahabi Yau and a host of others.
All those in attendance spoke in favour of reconciliation and urged their supporters to forget the past and look into the future.
They underscored the efficacy of reconciliation and its benefits to the peace and development of Zamfara State.
