The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jigawa state on Monday inaugurated a 27-man campaign committee for the upcoming 2023 governorship election in the state.
The gubernatorial candidate of the party Dr Mustapha Sule Lamido inaugurated the committee in Dutse, the state’s capital.
He charged them to be committed and discharge their duty diligently.
The committee, which is to be headed by Isah Ahmad Duniya Ba Hutu, will be responsible for the PDP’s campaign across the 27 local government areas of the state.
Lamido also condoled with victims of the recent flood in some parts of the state and prayed for Allah’s continued protection.
The PDP flag bearer also assured that he will bring development to the state and will ensure that everyone will be considered without sentiment when elected as a governor.
In his speech, the chairman, Isah Ba Hutu, promised to abide by the rules and regulations set aside by the party and urged his members to work tirelessly to win the election.
