Jigawa State PDP gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Mustapha Sule Lamido has promised to declare state of emergency against unemployment among youths in the state.
He made the promise at the campaign flag off and presentation of flags to party candidates in Dutse on Tuesday.
He said, if elected he will do everything possible address the issue of unemployment bedeviling Jigawa youth.
Lamido said, “I’m disturbed on the number of unemployed youths in the state, we will provide job to our youth”.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate said, while the unity of Jigawa state remains among his priorities, he will see that, the annual flooding ravaging the state will be a thing of the past adding that, health and education will also receive high priority.
The campaign flag off attracted massive crowd.of PDP supporters mostly women and youths who trooped into Dutse the state capita from the 27 local government areas of the state.
Small business owners, food sellers, meat sellers as well as soft drinks, bottled and sachet water sellers made huge sales during the occasion as supporters and guests present purchase their wares and goods.
