Former Zamfara State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari has reiterated that, the stability of the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains sacrosanct to its leaders and other members.in the state and the nation in general.
The state APC Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau in a statement on Friday stated said, the former governor made the remark in Mafara while rounding up his stakeholders meetings.
It could be recalled that, he convened series of stakeholders meetings with various categories of the party leaders from all the 14 local government areas of the state at his residence in Mafara.
The Stakeholders meetings was wrapped up with party leaders from Bakura, Maradun and Talata Mafara.
Yari said, there were some challenges that threatened the corporate existence of the party in the past which he said was ‘normal,’ in politics.
He said such divisive path will not be towed in the future, because the party because the leaders have put their heads together and brought the party to order.
The former Governor Forum Chairman with the unity between party leaders has eliminated all forms of political differences.
He said, the APC, now in Zamfara is focussing its attention to improving the lots of rural dwellers through the provision of basic amenities such as water, electricity, access roads, provision of good healthcare service delivery and basic education among others.
According to him, the APC is now devoid of political thugs as the Matawalle-led administration has engaged most of the youths into positive ventures to improve their livelihood.
He pointed out that, the unity the stakeholders, leaders and all members of the party, the APC is now strongly mobilized to ensure that all candidates into the various elective positions, from the president to councillors are voted and sworn into office.
He charged people of the state especially members of the APC to remain law abiding and embrace peace and high standards of discipline.
He predicted Zamfara will come over with the highest votes for the Tinubu/Shattima presidency while also ensuring the victory of all APC candidates from governor to members of the national assembly to the local council leadership.
In his remarks, State Chairman of the party, Hon Tukur Umar Danfulani represented by his vice acknowledged and commended the sterling effort of the former governor in the state.
Danfulani assured that at the party structure, members are ready and only waiting for the election day.
In a welcome address, former Zamfara State APC Chairman, Hon Lawal Liman Gabdon Kaura thanked them for honouring the invitation.
