The population of Zamfara State All Progressives Party (APC) henchmen has depleted with the decampment of Salihu Maibuhu Gummi, I Bakura and Sahabi Liman Kaura from the party to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP standard bearer in 2023 presidential, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, received the decampees, Wednesday, 27th July, at his Asokoro, Abuja residence who went there in company of a delegation of party faithful and officials from Zamfara State led by Dr. Dauda Lawal, the state’s PDP gubernatorial candidate for the 2023 election.
In his speech, the leader of the delegation stated that they are satisfied with the political philosophy of the former vice-president of the nation, his patriotic zeal and his desire to unify the country for peace, progress and peaceful co-existence.
They assured the PDP presidential candidate of their total support in his mission to work for a secure and a prosperous Nigeria.
On his part, the PDP presidential flag bearer, while thanking the delegation for identifying with him, affirmed his commitment to working with all party faithful and political stakeholders in Zamfara and in Nigeria for victory in the 2023 national and State elections.
