17 Communities in Akko Receive Cheques for Development Under Gombe’s NG-Cares

Gombe State Agency for Community and Social Development (CSDA), has presented cheques to 17 beneficiary communities in Akko Local Government Area, following the release of B3.3 billion by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for developmental programmes under the NG-Cares project.
The General Manager of CSDA, Haruna Ahmed Imam said the allocation for this batch of the project will cover 151 communities and 302 projects across the 11 local government areas of the state, out of which, Akko alone is getting over N274, 677, 200.
Imam reiterated Governor Yahaya’s commitment towards addressing the plight of the people, and applauded the speaker, House of Assembly, Abubakar Lugerewo, Chairman of Akko LG, Hon Muhammed Danladi Adamu and other stakeholders for their immense contribution towards bringing developmental projects to the community.
While highlighting the processes, terms and conditions for the project, the Finance and Administration manager of CSDA, Ibrahim Abubakar Gwani, reiterated the importance of using the allocated funds solely for the projects.
He reminded the beneficiaries that all projects are expected to be completed within two months of their commencement.
Responding, chairman Akko LG, Hon. Adamu, appreciated the state Government for the gesture and pledged his continuous support to Governor Yahaya’s initiatives for the state.
Some of the beneficiaries appreciated the state government and CSDA for trusting them with this task and assured them of their complete dedication in implementing the projects.
They also presented an award to the GM of CSDA and some of his staff in appreciation of their effort.
