The Speaker House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas has appointed 33 staff for the smooth running of his office to deliver the constitutional respoñsibilities of the 10th House of Representatives.
The appointments were announced in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi on Monday
It reads, “The Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Ph.D has made some fresh appointments in his office for effective delivery of his legislative agenda for the 10th House of Representatives”.
Those appointed include; Engr Jamil Ahmed Muhammed as Deputy Chief of Staff Administration; Dr Dunkwu Chamberlain as Deputy Chief of Staff Legislative; Hon. Ahmed Dayyabu Safan as Special Adviser, Special Duties;Dr. Hamisu Ibrahim Kubau as Special Adviser, Political Matters; Barr. Samuel Ajayi as Special Adviser, Legal Matters; Barr. Osazee Melody Ogundije as Special Assistant, Legislative Matters; Barr. Aminu Ramalan as Special Assistant ,Finance, Amb.Ibrahim Hamidu Gusau as Special Assistant International and Interparliamentary Affairs; Lamir Umar Ibrahim as Special Assistant, Youth Matters and Yetunde Adeniji as Special Assistant, Women Affairs.
Others include; Hon. Raphael Nnana Igbokwe as Special Assistant, Intergovernmental Affairs; Zakari Aliyu as Principal Private Secretary; Leke Baiyewu as Chief Press Secretary; Nura Adamu as Special Assistant,Broadcast Media; Ahmed Baba Musa as Special Assistant, Print Media; Olabamiji Enitan Jowosimi as Special Assistant, New Media; Aliyu Garba Waziri as Special Assistant, Executive Relations and Job Creation; Mohammed Salame as Special Assistant, Information and Communication Technology (ICT); Hon. Friday Itulah as Special Assistant, Political Matters (South-South) and Hon. Godfrey Gaiya as Special Assistant, Political Matters (North West).
Other appointees were; Hanmation Mark Tersoo as Special Adviser, Political Matters (North Central); Hon. Zakari Galadima, Special Assistant, Political Matters (North East); Abdulsalam Babakayode, Special Assistant,Political Matters (South West); Hon. Okwudili Christopher Ezenwanko as Special Assistant Political Matters (South East) and Hon. Abdullahi Sa’ad Abdulkadir, Special Assistant, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The rest include; Lawal Shehu Aliyu as Senior Legislative Aide, New Media; Mary Ann Uju Onyejimbe as Senior Legislative Aide; Nura Mustapha, Senior Legislative Aide; Yahaya Aminu Pate, Senior Legislative Aide; Auwal Usman Kombani, Senior Legislative Aide, New Media II; Victor Ngun as Senior Legislative Aide,Visual Communication; Andrew Fabian as Senior Legislative Aide, Photography and David Adebayo Dolapo as Senior Legislative Aide, Official Videographer.
The Speaker advised the new political appointees to discharge their duties in compliance with the new Schedule of Duties in the Office of the Speaker and utmost commitment to the implementation of the Legislative Agenda of the 10th House of Representatives.
The Appointments take immediate effect.
