AKUDIANG COMFORT PIUS, Jos.

Several students are feared killed on
Friday afternoon in Jos North LGA following the sudden collapse of Saint Academy Secondary School Two storey building built at Busa buji neighborhood of Jos.

Daylight reporters Newspapers gathered that the school that has produced many graduates from the college in recent years on Friday heard unusual noise in the 2 two storey building within the complex and while the teachers were trying to find out the cause of the cracking noise on the building, the storey building collapsed trapping the students for several hours before excavator was brought from Jos Metropolitan Development Board (IMDB) to rescue some of the trapped students while some unfortunate ones died before rescue team came from JMDB in the afternoon to the site of collapsed building.

Daylight reporters also gathered that the heavy rain that fell in the last few days in Jos tin city did not help matters as several neighborhoods in Jos were flooded.

At the time of filing in this report parents of both wounded and dead students were seen at ECWA Specialist Hospitals Jankwanu crying and wailing openly over their dead and In jured students while sympathizers especially women gathered holding the parents of the students.

When Daylight reporters called General Manager JMDB Arc Hart Bankat for Comments, he could not be reached as he was said to have Mobilised his men to the site of the collapsed building on rescue operation service.
