Speaking at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariat in Jos, Chollom emphasized that the Labour Party intends to contest all councilorship and chairmanship positions and will not yield to any pressure to withdraw from the elections, despite circulating rumors.

He expressed concern over the vandalism of campaign materials, including billboards and banners, describing such actions as undemocratic, uncivilized, and worthy of condemnation.

Chollom urged PLASIEC to fulfill its statutory responsibility to ensure that elections are conducted fairly, transparently, and credibly, aligning with the assurances given by Governor Caleb Mutfwang about the integrity of the electoral process in the state.

Chollom proclaimed the Labour Party as the most widely accepted political party in Nigeria and a viable alternative in Plateau State, encouraging Governor Mutfwang to consider running under the Labour Party banner in the 2027 elections.
