Nasarawa Governor Urges 162 Christian Pilgrims To Pray For State

The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule has called on Nasarawa State Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land to exhibit decorum and maturity while at the Holy Land.
The State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe gave the hint during a farewell message to the 162 intending Christian pilgrims.
He stated that last year’s pilgrimage was postponed due to the lingering skimishes in the Middle East.
He however revealed that despite the huge amount announced to the State Governor, money mounted to N52,000,000 million debt was settled by the State Governor without single subtraction.
He however opined that some local government council chairmen sponsored up to fifteen pilgrims to the from the coffers of their Local Government.
Prayers were offered by heads of various denominations applauded the State Governor, Abdullahi Sule for his relentless foresight to carry all and Sundry along.
Reverend Father Yakubu, representative of Catholic church admonished the intending pilgrims to exhibit fear of God at all times as well be good ambassadors of the State and country while at the holyland.
The leader of the pilgrims, His Royal Highness, Etsu Karu, Pharmacy Baba Chitubo thanked the State Governor for the tasked bestowed on him to lead the Christian pilgrims tagged 2024 pilgrimage to the holyland.
Also, Executive Secretary, David Ayiwa eulogies the Governor for creating an enabling atmosphere for the intending pilgrims.
