In line with the efforts of the Vice Chancellor to actualize the vision of the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello to ensure that full academic activities commence in this 2023/2024 academic year, he received representatives of the National Universities Commission (NUC) on resource verification visit to the institution.
A Statement by Tade J. Oshaloto ANIPR, SMCIISM University Public Relations Officer said the team, which was received by the Vice Chancellor at the permanent site of the institution, was conducted round the facilities at the three campuses, where they inspected lecture theaters, classrooms, laboratories, studios, libraries (including e-library), and workshops. The NUC also assessed the human resources of the institution.
The Vice-Chancellor assured the team of the readiness of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the University management, and friends of the University to see that Kogi State University Kabba indeed achieves the desire to beat the best and be the best.
