Gombe state Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of Chairman and Permanent Members of the Gombe State Local Government Service Commission.
The appointees are:
1. Alhaji Adamu Ahmed Malala- Chairman
2. Abdulkadir Mohammed Turaki ( Turakin Soro) -Permanent Member l
3. Abubakar D. Yahaya -Permanent Member ll
4. Usman Habu Kalba -Permanent Member lll
5. Mrs Zainab J. Akawu
– Permanent Member lV
The Governor has also approved the appointment of Dr. Mohammed Tafida, an agronomist at the Agricultural Extension and Management Department, Federal College of Horticulture Dadinkowa as Senior Special Assistant/ Coordinator, Gombe Goes Green Project ( 3G) .
The appointments of Chairman and Permanent Members of the Local Government Service Commission are with immediate effect while that of the SSA/ 3G Coordinator is with effect from 1st July, 2020.
The Secretary to the state Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the Governor’s approval, congratulated the new appointees and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by bringing to bear, their wealth of experience and knowledge while discharging their new responsibilities.
