Governor of Rivers State, has Nyesom Wike, stormed the the house of former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Comission, Joy Nunieh, to “rescue” her after the place was surrounded by policemen, who barred her from leaving home this morning.
Wike was said to have arrived the house, which was surrounded by over 15 armed policemen, in the morning.
He reportedly bulldozed his way into the building and zoomed off with the embattled ex-NDDC managing director.
Sources said the Governor relocated Nunieh, who was supposed to be in Abuja to testify before the ad-hoc committee of the House of Representatives investigating alleged corruption in the NDDC, to the Government House in Port Harourt.
