Bauchi state government has begun the construction of two blocks of six classrooms to be used as primary school for communities of Dajin village in Tafawa Balewa local
government area of the state.
The Managing Director of Bash Dee transport limited, the firm handling the project, Alhaji Bashir Isa said the commencement of the work followed governor Bala Mohammed’s directive for the construction of the classrooms to be conducted within 2 weeks.
He said the within 24 hours of the directive, the governor mobilized the firm so as to complete the project as scheduled and for subsequent commencement of academic activities.
“As you can see, we have started our work, and you are aware that His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed while passing the road saw pupils conducting academic activities under tree in which the governor expressed dismay on the development and that necessitated his directive for the construction of the classrooms.”
“Because of the importance of the project to the community, we are enjoying the support and cooperation of the communities and BASHDee transport limited is working round the clock to ensure the completion of the project at the said period.”
Alhaji Bashir Isa said the firm has already partnered with the state government in the area of construction and renovation of schools and has resolved to support the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed to succeed in the delivery of dividends of democracy.
“Recently, our company received a commendation letter from the Governor because of our effort of complementing the effort of his administration and we are determined to sustain that so as we can receive more awards.”
