Orogbemi alleged that the defendant burgled the house of one Feyisara Odole and stole one three-kilogramme gas cylinder worth N10,000.

“The defendant also stole N30,000 cash, property of  Odole,” he said.

According the prosecutor, the offences are punishable under Sections 411, 412 and 390 (9) of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ondo State, 2006.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr Chris Ojuola, granted him bail in the sum of N100, 000 and two sureties in like sum.
