Senator Malam-Madori Applauds FG Over Committee On Reduction Of Prices Of Food Items

Senator Ahmed Malam-Madori representing Jigawa North East Senatorial District has applauded President Bola Tinubu over his bold initiatives to drastically reduce prices of assorted food items in Nigerian through the setting the Presidential committee on the stabilization of the prices.
In a statement by the Senator’s spokesperson, Haruna Aliyu Hadejia, taking these measures is timely and a welcomed development, hoping that the implementation of Presidential directive will commence in earnest without further delay.
President Tinubu has directed a Federal Executive Council, (FEC) Committee to initiate strong and robust measures to drastically reduce the prices of assorted food items.
According to the Senator, the directive by Mr. President is genuine and a meticulous intervention as its success will impact positively to all and sundry.
He advised members of the committee to take the genuine concerns of the masses at heart in all decisions aimed at finding lasting solutions to the prohibitive cost of food items in Nigerian markets.
