The Velocity Humanitarian Foundation has announced the successful completion of its school fees intervention programme for indigent students of Gombe State University for the current academic session.
Following its earlier press release and the subsequent provision of a Google Form for students who were not captured in the initial phase, the Foundation has paid the school fees of an additional 277 students.
According to a statement by the Chairman of the Foundation, Engr. Aliyu Mohammed, this comes in addition to the 199 students whose fees were fully paid at the beginning of the semester.
The statement stressed that with this, the total number of beneficiaries of this year’s intervention stands at 2,274 students.
Engr. Mohammed said this effort reflects the Foundation’s commitment to supporting educational access and reducing the financial burden on underprivileged students across Gombe State.
It appreciated the cooperation of the university administration and all stakeholders who made the intervention a success.
The Foundation informed the public that this marks the conclusion of the school fees payment for this academic session.
It, however, encouraged students to remain focused on their academic pursuits and to continue striving for excellence.
“We remain dedicated to creating opportunities and improving lives through sustainable educational and humanitarian support,” the chairman assured.
